TH Tirrenia - Green Park Resort

The hotel seemed to be aimed at Business People. It was not really suitable as a holiday destination. The hotel is remote, and the reception staff were not aware of the service we had paid for. The room was dingy, no balcony and the bathroom was dirty. Especially the grout around the bath. The outside pool bar stayed open until 12 midnight, but apart from this, there was no lounge or hotel bar where you could relax and have a drink in the evening. Food in the restaurant was ok, and the restaurant team were lovely. I won’t return to this hotel.

The staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was large enough for 3 of us - double bed and single for a child. Clean and sheets / towels changed daily. The buffet was great changed daily and there were a lot of options, all fresh multiple pasta dishes everyday plus starters, salads and mains which include steak one day - drinks cost extra. The pool area is large there are two pools and it was very relaxed and there is a poolside bar. The grounds are vast and very well looked after they are lush and green.

Hotel was decent,Pool area good. Food in Restaurant was good. Problem was if weather was poor nothing to do. Not much around the hotel and had to rely on supermarket if restaurant was booked. Don't book this hotel if you want shopping and nightlife on your doorstep in September

We stayed in the delux room with balcony, the room and bathroom was spacious and spotless. The maids came daily with fresh towels etc. The grounds were tranquil and very tidy The best part was the pool, we never struggled for a sun bed, the pool was very clean , the pool bar staff were very friendly at all times I would have given 5:5 however I was slightly let down by some of the choices at dinner as they were very dry, although there were plenty of options

Having just left the Terrania Green Park this morning, the tranquility of the hotel and the warm,welcoming,helpful and professional attitude of every member of staff we dealt with,made us not want to leave.Our room was larger than expected,cleaned and towels changed daily.Air con was the strongest we've ever encountered and had to be turned down on a couple of occasions.The grounds are beautiful to walk around to enjoy a break from the poolside. The pool is clean and constantly checked with lifeguards on site.Swimcaps are required,which can be bought from the bar and didn't seem to bother anyone.Having previously spent a day on another holiday removing headlice from my child's hair caught from a pool,this didn't seem such a problem. Later on in the evening there is a live singer who puts his heart and soul into his vocals,not to be missed. There is a lovely sandy beach a five minute walk away,which the hotel provides vouchers for 2 free sundowners. A small supermarket and a few restaurants are nearby,the area is very low key so ideal for families and couples. There is a bus which runs from just outside,every half hour to Pisa but is quite complicated as you can only buy one ticket with one debitcard which can cause problems. Back to the staff -Thankyou to you all for making us so welcome.

After a shaky start we had a great time here. The quad room is large and adequate, good shower. The pool is clean and well looked after, plenty of sunbeds, if there were none available the lifeguard would gladly bring extra ones. We knew about the hats so brought our own.. which was fine with the lifeguards despite what others have said.. but ours weren’t that comfy so we bought their material ones for 3 euros.. no sweat.. and bald heads were fine with no hat! At first we thought the local hotels were derelict but further reading showed there’s interesting wartime history surrounding them. The food at breakfast and dinner has been excellent, plenty of fresh fruit, veg, fish, meats etc and the waiters are all attentive and helpful. We travelled around by bus, stops nearby. Be warned that they have very strict rules on buying and validating tickets. You can’t tap and pay for a family with one credit card/ Apple Pay ! .. we got fined.. and saw others getting fined as well.. inspectors jump on and there’s zero flexibility to put it politely.. we used the bus to get to Pisa and then the train from there to Luca and Florence. The trains were great and on time. We found all the staff here very helpful - the reception, pool, bar, restaurant and cleaning staff were all great.

Room was dirty; dusty and mold in the bathroom. 2/3 of the staff was semi arrogant. Cherry on the top was the ridigulously long list of forbidden activities on the pool area. Be aware, you cant swim without the fabric (not water resistant) swimming cap in the heat! As if it was the 60’s. The cap seemed insanitary and peoples hair would hang out of it anyway so what ever could possibly be the point of this rule? 🤣 and a regular cap of course wasnt acceptable for simply swimming, you must buy their cap. Breakfast was ok and at least the room had a decent ac.

nice and clean rooms, good facilities, good service. the reseptionist alessandro was very helpful and welcoming. felt like we were in good hands as soon as we arrived the hotel. outgoing dj at nighttime bringing all the guests together. we had a great time. fyi it may be hard to get to the sentrum of pisa, the buses werent always on time and the taxi will charge ekstra to go from pisa to the hotel to pick you up. but there is a few stores and good resturant nearby the hotel. it was helpful to be able to rent electrical bikes at the hotel, so you can visit other cities and resturants by the beach walk by these.

The room has a stench of mold when we first opened the door, and it was visible mold in the shower, and in some parts of the walls. Furthermore there was dust and dirt everywhere, especially on the walls, bed and other furniture’s. When we asked for another room the staff did not look surprised or worried regarding the moldy rooms. We had to go and look for rooms that was the least dirty before we let the staff pick a new room for us. Some of the staff was rude to other tourists as they complained about something not working or it being dirty. Walking around the premises you can see the bad condition of the resort. The pictures from the booking site is far from what it looked like. The resort has not been renovated since it was build. The spa that is promised has been closed for about 4 years and looks abandoned . There are abandoned buildings around the premises. The food at breakfast and dinner is poor, and there is almost no vegetables. The area of the resort is surrounded by abounded resorts and houses, and you have to take the bus/taxi if you want to go to the restaurants or to visit Marina di Pisa. There is no taxies in the area, which means you have to either order taxi from Pisa or any other closer city. Therefore it’s very expensive to get anywhere as they charge you for the entire way. The beach that belongs to the resort is nice but the staff that works at the lunch place are rude. Not many understood English as someone got the wrong orders every time we ate. When we asked to get the right food that was not always possible. The food was ok, but the dishes tasted very different from day to day. This place is just not worth the money, the staff are unfriendly if you make any complains. This place needs a total renovation. We will not return.
